Bellagio Hotel Las Vegas

The Bellagio Hotel is situated on the Las Vegas Strip. The reason I chose to recommend this hotel is not only due to its great location, but also because of the recognition it has received, such as being a five diamond award-winning hotel.

The hotel is also very beautiful with the lake and fountains between the building and Vegas Blvd.

The Bellagio Hotel Las Vegas, which is designed around the Bellagio in Italy, has many other features and benefits which will be depicted below.

There are a total of nine luxurious suites at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas. These suites are designed to feel more like a luxurious home than a hotel room. From the Salone suite to the Chairman suite, they all have many great features. Pros

The Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas is located in a great spot and people really appreciate this. Not only are they right on the strip, but there are also some tourists attractions such as a botanical garden and the Fountains of Bellagio right at the hotel. There is also a Casino in the hotel, which is very big, and many more to pick out of nearby.

A lot of people say that all they needed to do was ask for an upgrade and they got one. Although this will not always be possible, it seems as though if they do have availabilities in an upgraded room that they will upgrade most of the time. As for the quality of the rooms, I have not read any comments or heard from anyone that said they did not like it. They are very nice and exquisite.

The beauty of this hotel from the moment you walk in is breathtaking; with the chandelier by Fiori DI Como in the lobby when you walk in. There is also some of his art work elsewhere in the hotel. This hotel is definitely a great pick for people who appreciate art as there are so many opportunities without having to even leave the hotel.

The pool and the courtyard are also very nice. With its Mediterranean style this is definitely a great place to relax. In the courtyard there is also a pool café and a pool bar. Although it is quite pricey, there is the option to rent a pool cabana. In these Cabanas people enjoy: private patio, HD television, telephone, wireless internet, fresh fruit plate, fully stocked refrigerator, pool rafts, personal cabana host for anything you need and a newspaper daily. This Cabana rental would really be the ultimate poolside experience.

Also, at the hotel there is the Cirque du Soleil production of “O” which plays two times per day at 7:30pm and 10:00pm Wednesday to Sunday. On the Bellagio website they describe this show as: “Cirque du Soleil® weaves an aquatic tapestry of artistry, surrealism and theatrical romance in the timeless production, “O™.” The international cast of world-class acrobats, synchronized swimmers, divers and characters perform in, on, and above water to create a breathtaking experience in a magnificent theatre reminiscent of a European opera house.” This is certainly a show not to miss.

Another really good benefit of the Bellagio Hotel Las Vegas is that when your flight only leaves later, you have the option of checking out, and storing your luggage at the front desk. If you chose to do this and spend the afternoon at the pool; there is a shower area at the pool so it is possible to get ready for your flight before leaving. This is all offered at no extra cost.

Cons

The Bellagio is one of the biggest and most popular hotels in Las Vegas, and although it is loved by a lot of people, there are always a few downsides. One of the comments often made by customers is the lack of personalisation; however, from my point of view I was satisfied. Though it is not acceptable, there are many reasons why one could have received poor customer service.

Another thing that was reported by customers is the fact that it was hard to find a shaded area around the pool later in the morning. Although I had also noticed this, I had also noticed that the pool attendants are always on the lookout for chairs that are not being used and simply being “reserved” with their towel.

My favourite benefits

M y favourite part of the hotel was the pool area. I thought that it was a wonderful area and very relaxing. With the pool bar and pool café right there; it was possible to spend an entire day at the pool. Although there is a lack of seating in the shade, I noticed that not only were the attendants looking out for people “reserving” their chairs, if I noticed one was reserved I would go tell them.

There are also many shops at the Bellagio. First of all, it is possible to buy some of the items in the room for your home. There is also a vast selection of clothing, jewellery, and shoe stores. I also enjoyed browsing the gift shops in order to find some great souvenirs.

Finally, the rooms and beds were wonderful. Even if we only had one of their regular rooms, it felt very chic. The size was also great, and as previously mentioned, although I did not know about it, asking for an upgrade could be worth it as they may offer a free one.

All in all, although there are a few downsides to this hotel, to me they are not of that much importance, and the benefits definitely outweigh them. Ranging from the Bellagio fountains, to the beauty of the hotel and the overall great location right on the strip, this hotel is the one to go with on Vegas Blvd. I would definitely suggest this hotel to anyone who wishes to go to Las Vegas and who wishes to take part in the attractions that are right at the hotel.
